Melody has worked In the Carroll County School System over 20 years before deciding to
pursue another passion in the field of Esthetics. After years of working as an Independent
Beauty Consultant; Melody attended the ISSN (International School of Skin and Nails.)
Melody has trained under licensed dermatologists, and has worked in spas, and resorts across
Georgia. She is Laser and Oncology certified. On top of that she launched her own business,

LA’Journey Mobile Spa. She has amassed several celebrity clients and continue to treat them
regularly.
Melody joined West Georgia Technical College, where she developed, and launched two new
Esthetic certificate programs. She is a graduate of Joe Blasco Makeup Artist Training Center and
an alumna of Gwynnis Mosby Makeup Academy. Melody is currently training under celebrity
Special makeup FX artists from television and film, Greg Solomon.
