Benji began working with makeup at the age of 15 as a way to bring to life the creatures that lurked in his mind. Born and raised in rural Georgia, makeup was an escape from the constraints of small town life. As a completely self taught artist Benji has many amazing mentors that have helped him along the way. He has worked at Atlanta’s top rated haunted house Netherworld Haunted House for the past 5 seasons. He has also worked on sets from ‘Gaurdians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’, ’Avengers: Infinity Wars’, ‘Black Panther’, AMC’s ‘The Walking Dead’, BET’s ‘The Quad’ and upcoming feature film ‘Ma’. He also had the great honor and pleasure of working as Mr. Tyler Perry’s makeup artist for ‘Boo 2! A Madea Halloween’ and upcoming ‘Tyler Perry’s A Madea Family Funeral’ and helped bring his iconic character’s to life. Benji is not only a SPFX makeup artist but is proficient in multiple areas of makeup from beauty, drag to straight corrective makeup.
